There is a war on drugs.
Who are we fighting in the war on drugs? Who benefits from the billions of dollars spent on this war?
These billions of dollars don't dissapear when they conctact drugs and evaporate into nothingness. These dollars end up supporting government eradication projects, most probably earmarked to be spent on American military products.
And every dollar we spend on this proxy drug war, is a dollar not spent on true domestic issues, I mean such money could be spent on drug treatment.
